12 Bible Verses and Scriptures on Spiritual Growth

When a baby is born, everyone around that child expects to see that child grow from one stage to the other. As a matter of fact, it becomes a great concern when such growth is not seen in the child.

In the same way our Heavenly Father wants us the keep growing in Him. From the moment we first know and accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior, we have the ability to grow and advance in the knowledge of God. That is the Father’s desire and should be ours too.

You’ll find below some scriptures regarding on our spiritual growth and well-being in Christ Jesus.

And so, from the day we heard, we have not ceased to pray for you, asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding,so as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God. – Colossians 1:9-10 (ESV)
