Bible Verses and Scriptures on Encouragement

Many times we get to a point in life where we feel discouraged and feel like we simply can’t go on believing for that miracle, that breakthrough, that promise…Whatever it is, it is NOT the time to give up! Rather, it is time to dig deep into God’s Word like never before and BELIEVE.

* In my distress I cried unto the LORD, and he heard me. – Psalm 120:1

* God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.  Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea,  though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging. “Selah” – Psalm 46:1-3 (NIV)

 

* The name of the LORD is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe. – Proverbs – 18:10 (NIV)

 

* No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it. – 1 Corinthians 10:13 (NKJV)

 

* Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee. – Deuteronomy 31:6
